Martin Goodrich

Martin has over 30 years of experience during which he has worked with a number of Chartered Accounting firms of varying sizes from Big 4 to second tier firms before commencing this practice in 1989. Immediately prior to establishing the practice, Martin was a partner at a national second tier firm of Chartered Accountants where he managed the Business Services Division, and was also responsible for financial and investment planning.

Martin is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, a Registered Company Auditor and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants. He is also an Accredited Financial Planner with a Proper Authority with the SECURITOR Financial Group, through the independent Goodrich Financial Services.

His personal philosophy for the practice is to provide clients with improved management information to support their decision-making processes.

 

Tony Newman

TONY NEWMAN

Tony has over 25 years experience in business and private client taxation, and business advisory services. Prior to joining Martin Goodrich & Associates in 2002 he was with Arthur Andersen for 18 years. At Arthur Andersen Tony was a director in both the tax practice & the enterprise group.

Tony has provided tax and business advice to a variety of clients. These include family owned businesses, private clients including professionals, large corporate clients as well as Australian subsidiaries of foreign companies. In addition, he services a range of industries including real estate & construction, retail and wholesale, manufacturing and the professions.

Tony is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia & the Taxation Institute of Australia.
